Spectators: 7464 (Terracing: 5599, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Japke van Asten started the match with the kick off. Laércio Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Castelen having to interfere. In the 4th minute, Ralph van der Stoel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th match minute, S.C. Potentia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Koen Beishuizen to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Antunes in the 9th minute of play forced S.C. Potentia's goalkeeper Danny Castelen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Granadero10's Laércio Penha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Danny Castelen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A throw-in in the 21st minute of the game was made by Bedri Aydıntan with Tomé Botelho as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. S.C. Potentia's Danny Castelen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laércio Penha in the 23rd minute of play. Danny Castelen came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Granadero10's Laércio Penha. But to his dismay, Laércio Penha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Laércio Penha scored 0-4 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Danny Castelen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roel Boeringe got a throw-in 47 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ralph van der Stoel. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laércio Penha made a kick off. Laércio Penha received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Danny Castelen came out and tried to block the shot, but Laércio Penha slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 55th minute. Granadero10's Beniamin Madajczyk got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Granadero10's Vítor Antunes got a free kick in the 68th minute. 0-6 became the score in the 71st minute when Beniamin Madajczyk elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Granadero10's Valério Batista was substituted for Franz Beckenbauer. Danny Castelen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beniamin Madajczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Vítor Antunes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danny Castelen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. A collision led to Granadero10 getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Laércio Penha hit a great ball. Danny Castelen came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Granadero10's Laércio Penha. But to his dismay, Laércio Penha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. With a little luck, S.C. Potentia's Danny Castelen got control of the ball when Laércio Penha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Danny Castelen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beniamin Madajczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the match, Vítor Antunes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Danny Castelen, 0-9. Beniamin Madajczyk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danny Castelen having to make a save.
