Ceferino Indar's late challenge caught a Granadero10's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ceferino Indar helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Aquiles Baeza FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Ceferino Indar hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, Laércio Penha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joël Bats, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laércio Penha in the 22nd minute of play forced Aquiles Baeza FC's goalkeeper Joël Bats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Granadero10's Emerson Velasco got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Aquiles Baeza FC's goalkeeper Joël Bats had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laércio Penha. After a rather tough play, Granadero10's Vítor Antunes got a free kick in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laércio Penha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Armando Pelagius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Zhao Ping Hui was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 54thth minute of the game Laércio Penha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aquiles Baeza FC's Joël Bats was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aquiles Baeza FC's Joël Bats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tana Rede in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute Tana Rede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joël Bats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Granadero10's Valério Batista was substituted for Franz Beckenbauer. Granadero10's Beniamin Madajczyk was substituted for Vítor Antunes. Joël Bats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tana Rede in the 74th minute of the match. Joël Bats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beniamin Madajczyk in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of Aquiles Baeza FC booed when Granadero10 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valério Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Granadero10 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Aquiles Baeza FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
