Mayo's Alexander Bird played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Matai in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Alfredo Miliano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Faustino Rencio. Kakeros FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Miliano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Kakeros FC's Faustino Rencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Oliver in the 7th minute of play. Faustino Rencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Farmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Jorge Montez struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Alexander Bird didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kakeros FC. Kakeros FC's Faustino Rencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Farmer in the 15th minute of play. After 16 played minutes Mayo got a freekick which was hit by Glyn Smith. If Gerardo Matai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faustino Rencio made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Steve Oliver sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd minute, Arnoldo Prejun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kakeros FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Guido Pagomari 24 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. After having played for 33 minutes, Guido Pagomari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mayo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Pagomari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 35 minutes of play, Mayo's Samuel Farmer made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Faustino Rencio was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 38 played minutes Kakeros FC got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Sayveon. Steve Oliver's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Faustino Rencio firmly grabbed it by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Sayveon during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th minute, Hugo Sayveon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Kakeros FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Gerardo Matai hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Guido Pagomari managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mayo's supporters rose to their feet, but Guido Pagomari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino Rencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guido Pagomari made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Samuel Farmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the match, Kakeros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Oliver came free, but Faustino Rencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Sayveon was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Kakeros FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Hugo Sayveon hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Pagomari in the 57th minute of play forced Kakeros FC's goalkeeper Faustino Rencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute Gerardo Matai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Bird saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute Steve Oliver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Rencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faustino Rencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Farmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredo Miliano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Rencio having to interfere. Kakeros FC made a substitution. Cipriano Regis replaced Jorge Montez. Mayo made a substitution. Evelio Goren replaced Samuel Farmer. Mayo's Arlindo Trevisan was substituted for Patrick Robins. Des Gill might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Faustino Rencio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Des Gill ran back to his position shaking his head. 79 minutes into the match, Kakeros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Des Gill came free, but Faustino Rencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Des Gill managed to get in a good position for a shot. When Mayo's Des Gill in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kakeros FC's goalie prevented a goal. Mayo were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Kakeros FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Evelio Goren took the corner. After a defensive mix-up in Kakeros FC's zone, Steve Oliver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Rencio came out of the goal and Steve Oliver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Faustino Rencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Des Gill in the 89th minute of play. Steve Oliver's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Faustino Rencio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Mayo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
