But to his dismay, John-Arne Riise quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 13th minute Simon Svanström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Hønning's Betinho Beton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Simon Svanström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos having to interfere. Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos had in the 22ndth minute some difficulties stopping Laurids Hvenekilde's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Laurids Hvenekilde took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos. INTERISTAS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, INTERISTAS's goal looked a bit too open when John-Arne Riise came free, but Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute John-Arne Riise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John-Arne Riise in the 34th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, John-Arne Riise ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The audience was convinced that John-Arne Riise's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Hønning were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after INTERISTAS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Laurids Hvenekilde took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Carlos Eduardo Varela heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After a rather tough play, INTERISTAS's Aimilios Brizolakis got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

John-Arne Riise might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. John-Arne Riise ran back to his position shaking his head. After a long run with the ball, Betinho Beton did a trick in the 58th minute in front of INTERISTAS's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 0-4. An impressive performance by Hønning's Betinho Beton! John-Arne Riise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos having to interfere. John-Arne Riise who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. John-Arne Riise might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. John-Arne Riise ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in INTERISTAS's zone, John-Arne Riise stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos came out of the goal and John-Arne Riise tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to INTERISTAS getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Petros Moustogiannis hit a great ball. Betinho Beton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, INTERISTAS's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Eduardo Varela came free, but Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind INTERISTAS's goalkeeper Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Hønning left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than INTERISTAS.
