A collision led to MAN FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Justino Orland hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Alix Renou notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of MAN FC's Astor Rivas. Astor Rivas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. MAN FC's Astor Rivas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save MAN FC from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute, Cyrille Melon made a precise shot to the right of Astor Rivas. MAN FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 19th minute Marcelino Hug shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustave Souchu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelino Hug kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. With a little luck, MAN FC's Astor Rivas got control of the ball when Rodolphe Briatte tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolphe Briatte got free with Astor Rivas in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Astor Rivas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyrille Melon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Astor Rivas came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by R.C. Marseille's Alix Renou. But to his dismay, Alix Renou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. A collision led to MAN FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Cederik De Roost hit a great ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Cyrille Melon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. R.C. Marseille's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cyrille Melon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Astor Rivas came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by R.C. Marseille's Tomasz Sobania. But to his dismay, Tomasz Sobania quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 39 played minutes R.C. Marseille got a freekick which was hit by Achille Fritsch. In the 43rdth minute of the game Cederik De Roost who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but R.C. Marseille's Gustave Souchu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cyrille Melon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Astor Rivas came out and tried to block the shot, but Cyrille Melon slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cyrille Melon to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Cyrille Melon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The R.C. Marseille fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Gustave Souchu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cederik De Roost in the 56th minute of the match. Gustave Souchu made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Cederik De Roost sent off a good shot on target. Astor Rivas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyrille Melon, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After some careless play in the MAN FC defense, Cyrille Melon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Astor Rivas. The MAN FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Astor Rivas should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute, Tomasz Sobania left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The R.C. Marseille fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. R.C. Marseille's Fausto Ferrante was substituted for Tomasz Sobania. MAN FC made a substitution. Alain Prost replaced Cederik De Roost. Gustave Souchu made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Alain Prost sent off a good shot on target. Astor Rivas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyrille Melon in the 83rd minute of play. Cyrille Melon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Astor Rivas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to MAN FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Cornelio Semeno hit a great ball. Fausto Ferrante took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Astor Rivas. Astor Rivas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. Cyrille Melon scored 12-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Astor Rivas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. R.C. Marseille fully deserved thier win.
