Egg Chasers FC's Vincent Blakeley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Egg Chasers FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruce Marler in the 13th minute of play forced COPERNICUS TORUŃ's goalkeeper Gordon Horgan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olgun Oktay got free with Vincent Blakeley in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st minute of the match, Olgun Oktay got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vincent Blakeley was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Gordon Horgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tosh Goodwin in the 27th minute of play. Egg Chasers FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Johnathan Jobson in the 28th minute. Gordon Horgan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruce Marler in the 30th minute of the match. After 32 minutes, Brion Murphy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the COPERNICUS TORUŃ and the Egg Chasers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brion Murphy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Vincent Blakeley threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wiktor Dropinski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Egg Chasers FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Olgun Oktay scored to the left of an out of position Vincent Blakeley, making the score, 1-0. 44 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Vincent Blakeley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olgun Oktay. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tosh Goodwin to strike the kick off in the second half. Vincent Blakeley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miklós Berta, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Gordon Horgan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruce Marler's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. 66 minutes into the match, COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Brion Murphy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vincent Blakeley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vincent Blakeley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brion Murphy in the 70th minute of the match. Tosh Goodwin hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Wiktor Dropinski managed to get in a good position for a shot. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's supporters rose to their feet, but Wiktor Dropinski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vincent Blakeley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of COPERNICUS TORUŃ booed when Egg Chasers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ozzy Acton didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Turk got free with Gordon Horgan in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vincent Blakeley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olgun Oktay in the 84th minute of play. Michael Turk kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After 87 played minutes, COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Bradner McCready shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vincent Blakeley came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in COPERNICUS TORUŃ reached it. If Olgun Oktay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of COPERNICUS TORUŃ booed when Egg Chasers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calvin Clark didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tosh Goodwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the COPERNICUS TORUŃ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
