Despite this Dino Arósio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 8 minutes into the match, Japke de Boer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dino Arósio. Corinthians Virtual FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Japke de Boer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 13 minutes into the game, Christijan Schreuder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Dino Arósio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dino Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christijan Schreuder, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 24 minutes, Donato Ferraz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corinthians Virtual FC and the Verwachting players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes Verwachting got a freekick which was hit by Hans Deitmers. In the 31st minute, Twan Hesseling made a precise shot to the right of Dino Arósio. Corinthians Virtual FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The supporters of Corinthians Virtual FC booed when Verwachting was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harm de Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Bora Han Akbel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moisés Lago to make the kick off. Dino Arósio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Corinthians Virtual FC's zone, Christijan Schreuder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dino Arósio came out of the goal and Christijan Schreuder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Twan Hesseling was extremely unlucky when he, in the 60th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 61 played minutes Corinthians Virtual FC got a freekick which was hit by Wen Wei Di. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Corinthians Virtual FC's goalkeeper Dino Arósio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dino Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Japke de Boer in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Corinthians Virtual FC's goalkeeper Dino Arósio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christijan Schreuder. In the 72nd minute, one of Verwachting:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Verwachting. Corinthians Virtual FC's Dino Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Twan Hesseling in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute of the match, Twan Hesseling tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dino Arósio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Twan Hesseling blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dino Arósio having to make a save. 84 minutes into the match, Corinthians Virtual FC's goal looked a bit too open when Japke de Boer came free, but Dino Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Japke de Boer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dino Arósio. Japke de Boer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. 93 minutes into the match, Corinthians Virtual FC's goal looked a bit too open when Twan Hesseling came free, but Dino Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Corinthians Virtual FC's zone, Japke de Boer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dino Arósio came out of the goal and Japke de Boer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Twan Hesseling took a quick shot and it went in 1-9 without a chance for Dino Arósio to make any attempt to save it. The Corinthians Virtual FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Verwachting's performance. The match ended with a win for Verwachting.
