The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaimo Viilup in the 4th minute of play forced Berisso Dortmund's goalkeeper Baltasar Mercurio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Simo Mihklisaar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baltasar Mercurio. Baltasar Mercurio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ennu Krae in the 11th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ennu Krae in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baltasar Mercurio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Berisso Dortmund players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rymu were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alonzo Mede to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Ennu Vainola kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Baltasar Mercurio. That made the score 0-6 in the 52 minute of play. Ennu Vainola took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baltasar Mercurio. Baltasar Mercurio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ennu Vainola got free with Baltasar Mercurio in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 59 minutes into the match, Berisso Dortmund's goal looked a bit too open when Kaimo Viilup came free, but Baltasar Mercurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
