The throw-in from Marcos Santos in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Velez Sarsfield's Marcos Pacifico. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Cordario in the 65th minute of play forced Rockets's goalkeeper Alfredo Alagoano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Velez Sarsfield's Augusto Cordario dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-12. In the 74th minute, Augusto Cordario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Rockets fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Velez Sarsfield were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
