The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Filipe Nascimento cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Paulin Sequeiros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eliseu Marquez made in the 7th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Filipe Nascimento however managed to control. A collision led to Vanadio F.C. getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Janari Hinn hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Nascimento in the 14th minute of play forced Vanadio F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulin Sequeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 minutes Vanadio F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gui Souza who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Flamengo FSCMZ's Şensoy Peyam to fire away a dangerous shot which Paulin Sequeiros despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Flamengo FSCMZ's Vincent Bos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Flamengo FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute Vanadio F.C. were awarded a corner. Maxin Oces went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Johan Kiewit got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vincent Bos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Nascimento in the 35th minute of play forced Vanadio F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulin Sequeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Enrico Rea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flamengo FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Vanadio F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gui Souza took the corner. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Filipe Nascimento made the kick off in the second half. Enrico Rea kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of Flamengo FSCMZ booed when Vanadio F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxin Oces didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vanadio F.C. made a substitution. Leizarraga Olmedo replaced Bekir Çağan. Vanadio F.C.'s Gordon Suarez was substituted for Roberto Sarri. Maxin Oces hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The supporters of Vanadio F.C. booed when Flamengo FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harkaitz Arevalo kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Gordon Suarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leizarraga Olmedo in the 71st minute of play forced Flamengo FSCMZ's goalkeeper Vincent Bos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Filipe Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flamengo FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Filipe Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulin Sequeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 78 played minutes Vanadio F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Leizarraga Olmedo. Filipe Nascimento might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulin Sequeiros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filipe Nascimento ran back to his position shaking his head. Vincent Bos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Kiewit in the 82nd minute of play. Leizarraga Olmedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Vincent Bos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vincent Bos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leizarraga Olmedo in the 92nd minute of the match. Vanadio F.C. were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
