Mário Maradonas short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Eliseo Sagrario to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aquilino Bittor in the 7th minute. In the 12th minute, MINEIROS's Mário Maradona dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s Cristian Beliran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thommy Jadis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s Eliseo Sagrario got control of the ball when Mário Maradona tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the MINEIROS defense, Jan Hendrik Lange kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thommy Jadis. The MINEIROS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thommy Jadis should have stopped the shot. If Cristian Beliran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, MINEIROS's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Gitano came free, but Thommy Jadis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thommy Jadis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Gitano in the 25th minute of play. Bon Čáp kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Eliseo Sagrario was a little too slow when Mário Maradona got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 2-1. Thommy Jadis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Bittor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mário Maradona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristian Beliran to strike the kick off in the second half. Thommy Jadis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Beliran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Vamos Los Pibes!!!! getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Kazimierz Kordalewski hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Florentino Gitano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thommy Jadis was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Eliseo Sagrario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Maradona in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 68th minute MINEIROS were awarded a corner. Ricardo Custódio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Ricardo Custódio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s Eliseo Sagrario did a great save. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Mário Maradona managed to get in a good position for a shot. MINEIROS's supporters rose to their feet, but Mário Maradona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseo Sagrario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s zone, Roberto Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseo Sagrario came out of the goal and Roberto Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute, Bon Čáp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MINEIROS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vamos Los Pibes!!!! had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
