After a rather tough play, Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Abel Esiquio got a free kick in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Atletico Calamar Saavedra's goal looked a bit too open when Boleslaw Zielinski came free, but Bonifacio Naldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 18 in the game by Cipriano Sustrai from a close distance when the talented Luisito Quinten managed to make a qualified save. Lyons's players were relieved. 18 minutes into the game, Cipriano Sustrai lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Luisito Quinten. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cipriano Sustrai got free with Luisito Quinten in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes into the match, Lyons's Boleslaw Zielinski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bonifacio Naldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 34 minutes into the game, Lyons's Boleslaw Zielinski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bonifacio Naldo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Bonifacio Naldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Salvadore in the 41st minute of play. Bonifacio Naldo came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Lyons's Boleslaw Zielinski. But to his dismay, Boleslaw Zielinski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Honorio Justin to strike the kick off in the second half. Boleslaw Zielinski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Lyons's Dariusz Roano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bonifacio Naldo. That made the score 2-5 after 78 minutes of play. Dariusz Roano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bonifacio Naldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Dariusz Roano might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bonifacio Naldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dariusz Roano ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Bonifacio Naldo got control of the ball when Dariusz Roano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lyons's Dariusz Roano got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luisito Quinten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Esiquio, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Bonifacio Naldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dariusz Roano in the 92nd minute. Lyons were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Atletico Calamar Saavedra's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ruperto Salvadore took the corner. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Dariusz Roano scored to the left of an out of position Bonifacio Naldo, making the score, 2-6. The Atletico Calamar Saavedra supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lyons's performance. The match ended with a win for Lyons.
