Valdomiro Dionísio might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlo Matetich. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valdomiro Dionísio ran back to his position shaking his head. Carlo Matetich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdomiro Dionísio, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After having played for 9 minutes, Valdomiro Dionísio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. POPULAR F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdomiro Dionísio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valdomiro Dionísio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlo Matetich having to make a save. With a little luck, Valpo UXX's Carlo Matetich got control of the ball when Valdomiro Dionísio tried to sneak it across the goal line. POPULAR F.C's Maicon de Godoi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by David Adaro, made in the 17th minute of the game. After 18 played minutes Valpo UXX got a freekick which was hit by Juan Luis Rueda. If Valdomiro Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the game, one of Valpo UXX:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 31st minute there was a penalty for POPULAR F.C. Gilson Cordeiro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carlo Matetich. 4-0. Valdomiro Dionísio might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlo Matetich. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valdomiro Dionísio ran back to his position shaking his head. Carlo Matetich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdomiro Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdomiro Dionísio in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlo Matetich prevented the ball from getting in the gole. POPULAR F.C's Valdomiro Dionísio got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maicon de Godoi shot a long shot in the 47th minute and a light blocked Carlo Matetich hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 6-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jimeno Reole stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdomiro Dionísio in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlo Matetich prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlo Matetich came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by POPULAR F.C's Valdomiro Dionísio. But to his dismay, Valdomiro Dionísio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Carlo Matetich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdomiro Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Valpo UXX booed when POPULAR F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mei Xun Jun didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, POPULAR F.C's Frank Moyle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlo Matetich narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Frank Moyle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The POPULAR F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. Carlo Matetich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Moyle, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Frank Moyle scored 12-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlo Matetich, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute Frank Moyle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Matetich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. POPULAR F.C's Attila Szepesvári managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by David Adaro in the 91 minute of the game. In the 92nd minute, Frank Moyle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlo Matetich was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. The audience was convinced that Frank Moyle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlo Matetich was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. There was no doubt that POPULAR F.C were the better team. POPULAR F.C's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
