In the 25thth minute of the game Mauro Boselli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shi Li in the 28th managed to get into a good position. After 38 minutes of play, Shuspendemo's Mauro Boselli made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octavian Soare was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 41st minute Mauro Boselli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Soare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Vellito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Li in the 75th minute of the match. Ismael Vellito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Sticlaru in the 78th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Venancio Kepa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octavian Soare was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game.
