But to his dismay, Teofilo Maidana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Zacarias Cabrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Maidana, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Hector Bobis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Armando Basajaun came out and tried to block the shot, but Hector Bobis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 15th minute. Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Armando Basajaun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Bobis in the 18th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Azul Y Plomo's Hector Bobis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. If Teofilo Maidana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Maidana in the 36th minute of play forced Azul Y Plomo's goalkeeper Zacarias Cabrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teofilo Maidana struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Zacarias Cabrero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cartero de Agronomia F.C.. Armando Basajaun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hector Bobis in the 40th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hector Bobis in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Basajaun saved Cartero de Agronomia F.C. from getting behind. Manolo Area hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teofilo Maidana was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Hector Bobis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Basajaun was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Evaristo Errando charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evaristo Errando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 59 minutes into the match, Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hector Bobis came free, but Armando Basajaun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teofilo Maidana got free with Zacarias Cabrero in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
