Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benedykt Pankiewicz in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santiago Toli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Esen Sanal made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Alonzo Urbasa sent off a good shot on target. M. Andik Cabañas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Esen Sanal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul booed when SABALEPLUS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Björling didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 minutes, Benedykt Pankiewicz made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. SABALEPLUS's Santiago Toli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Urbasa in the 28th minute of play forced S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper Esen Sanal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Toli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Pochekanski, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Esen Sanal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Máximo Kirchner in the 40th minute of the match. M. Andik Cabañas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Esen Sanal made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillermo Ulizes got free with Esen Sanal in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benedykt Pankiewicz to make the kick off. Esen Sanal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from M. Andik Cabañas went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 61 minutes into the match, SABALEPLUS's Alonzo Urbasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esen Sanal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, SABALEPLUS's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Pochekanski came free, but Santiago Toli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Wellington Fonseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esen Sanal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Pasqual in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, M. Andik Cabañas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SABALEPLUS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. In the 82nd minute Abel Pasqual shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esen Sanal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esen Sanal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Máximo Kirchner in the 85th minute of the match. M. Andik Cabañas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esen Sanal having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the S.E.R. Caxias do Sul players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SABALEPLUS.
