The supporters of NK BRONZIN booed when Sport Lisboa e Benfica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Collin Grimm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karlo Radonić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Herb Good tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Sport Lisboa e Benfica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Collin Grimm to maneuver through the defense. Natko Gajski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernard Kufner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilian Zgabei in the 22nd minute of play. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind NK BRONZIN's goalkeeper Bernard Kufner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Emilian Zgabei left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sport Lisboa e Benfica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 38th minute of the match Sport Lisboa e Benfica got a corner. NK BRONZIN's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rostyslav Solodkyi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Antony Lofton was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bernard Kufner in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 40th minute Sport Lisboa e Benfica were awarded a corner. Rostyslav Solodkyi went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Du Lei Bin heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Vladan Jelovica could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Herb Good made a huge save. Natko Gajski charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natko Gajski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

NK BRONZIN made a substitution. Oliver Grlić replaced Florijan Posinjak. Thanks to some nice moves Emilian Zgabei could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Bernard Kufner however easily saved by the left post. Bernard Kufner made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Emilian Zgabei sent off a good shot on target. Herb Good took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dragutin Furmek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacinto Vela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emilian Zgabei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Bernard Kufner made a huge save. The throw-in from Karlo Radonić in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Du Lei Bin. Emilian Zgabei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernard Kufner having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, one of NK BRONZIN:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for NK BRONZIN. In the 86th minute, the referee gave Sport Lisboa e Benfica a penalty. Emilian Zgabei looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Bernard Kufner. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Marcel Lynn advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-3 in the 91st minute. Herb Good took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Grlić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sport Lisboa e Benfica had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
