Fortunato Angelucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's Marciano Hernando got a free kick in the 15th minute. The audience was convinced that Alessio Zoccali's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeronimo Lizar was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Jeronimo Lizar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alessio Zoccali's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danton Boule in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Rotili prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jesus Bitxintxo's late challenge caught a A.S. Udinese's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jesus Bitxintxo helped the player get up and apologised. Jesus Bitxintxo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Jeronimo Lizar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alessio Zoccali went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 29th minute of the match, Jesus Bitxintxo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alvaro Rotili was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 35 minutes into the game, Alexander Damiani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.S. Udinese's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş the free kick. The supporters of Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş booed when A.S. Udinese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Damiani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvaro Rotili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter Pico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Artal Burualla in the 37th minute. Artal Burualla's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alvaro Rotili firmly grabbed it by the left post. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.S. Udinese's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Artal Burualla was slow to take the kick. During this time Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Pico in the 45th minute of play forced A.S. Udinese's goalkeeper Alvaro Rotili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Rotili came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's Walter Pico. But to his dismay, Walter Pico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A.S. Udinese made a substitution. Bianco De Vito replaced Merexildo Oliveras. In the 49th match minute, Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Hernando to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 60th minute, Bianco De Vito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A.S. Udinese's Augusto Clemente was substituted for Cristiano Paolucci. A.S. Udinese's Bruno Maranzano was substituted for Alexander Damiani. Alvaro Rotili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artal Burualla in the 64th minute of play. Alberigo Di Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's Jeronimo Lizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessio Zoccali in the 69th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danton Boule in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Rotili saved A.S. Udinese from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artal Burualla in the 72nd minute of play forced A.S. Udinese's goalkeeper Alvaro Rotili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Rotili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artal Burualla in the 77th minute of play. A.S. Udinese's Alvaro Rotili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artal Burualla in the 82nd minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Alessio Zoccali dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jeronimo Lizar, 1-2. Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's Daniel Argoitz was substituted for Jesus Bitxintxo. 96 minutes into the game, Ermegildo Unai threw the ball into play from the sideline. A.S. Udinese's Bruno Maranzano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.
