Murathan İspirli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Vielva in the 3rd minute of play. Lars Batzer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rolando Roland's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Taşçıspor's goalkeeper Murathan İspirli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elizardo Massana. Murathan İspirli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Vielva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kılıçhan Sungur scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lars Batzer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Carqueja's zone, Kılıçhan Sungur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars Batzer came out of the goal and Kılıçhan Sungur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the game, one of Taşçıspor:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The supporters of Carqueja booed when Taşçıspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rahmi Şerafeddin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Kılıçhan Sungur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lars Batzer. Carqueja's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kılıçhan Sungur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Murathan İspirli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan-Alfredo Solares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elizardo Massana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Murathan İspirli made a huge save. Murathan İspirli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enmanuel Herdozain in the 38th minute of the match. In the 45th minute Rolando Roland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Batzer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Elizardo Massana made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kılıçhan Sungur in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lars Batzer saved Carqueja from getting behind. Kılıçhan Sungur might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lars Batzer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kılıçhan Sungur ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kılıçhan Sungur got free with Lars Batzer in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 55 minutes, Franco Garro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carqueja and the Taşçıspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Carqueja getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Franco Garro hit a great ball. Kılıçhan Sungur struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Lars Batzer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taşçıspor. Franco Garro was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Taşçıspor made a substitution. Davut İkram replaced Kılıçhan Sungur. In the 64th minute, Davut İkram left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Taşçıspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. A collision led to Carqueja getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Enmanuel Herdozain hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Carqueja's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Roland came free, but Lars Batzer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Carqueja's Lars Batzer got control of the ball when Davut İkram tried to sneak it across the goal line. Murathan İspirli came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Carqueja's Mario Vielva. But to his dismay, Mario Vielva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Taşçıspor's zone, Elizardo Massana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murathan İspirli came out of the goal and Elizardo Massana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cortez Olalde kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Carqueja defense, Rolando Roland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lars Batzer. The Carqueja fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lars Batzer should have stopped the shot. Carqueja made a substitution. Oliverio Cavallosa replaced Juan-Alfredo Solares. Carqueja's Lars Batzer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Carqueja from getting a goal against them.
