A. Independiente's Farid Mondragón. Farid Mondragón was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The C. A. Independiente fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when C. A. Independiente's Kerry Sellers looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 28 minutes into the game, Imanol Erosa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. In the 39th minute of the match Dinamita on Grass got a corner. C. A. Independiente's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leandro Paredes ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Leandro Paredes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C. A. Independiente's Farid Mondragón did a great save. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. Independiente's goalkeeper Farid Mondragón, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

C. A. Independiente's Tommie Bolton was substituted for Garth Gould. Dinamita on Grass's Vito Castelao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kerry Sellers in the 54th minute of play. After 56 played minutes Dinamita on Grass got a freekick which was hit by Jago Sánchez. Imanol Erosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dinamita on Grass's Amat Serena was substituted for Leandro Paredes. Farid Mondragón was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Amat Serena showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 69 minute of play. In the 81st minute Kerry Sellers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito Castelao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Kerry Sellers put it in 3-4 from a short distance just to the right of Vito Castelao. Farid Mondragón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amat Serena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vito Castelao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommie Bolton, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Dinamita on Grass eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
