In the 5th minute, Robin Hood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermanö Oilers's Oskar Haeger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çağdaş Yuvakuran in the 8th minute of play. Oskar Haeger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiger De Hond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Hermanö Oilers's goal looked a bit too open when Çağdaş Yuvakuran came free, but Oskar Haeger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermanö Oilers's Oskar Haeger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çağdaş Yuvakuran in the 13th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hjalmar Askelöf during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hjalmar Askelöf hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute Mauro Primeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oskar Haeger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Poli Timisoara's Mauro Primeiro got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 29th minute, Çağdaş Yuvakuran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poli Timisoara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Oskar Haeger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiger De Hond, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After some careless play in the Hermanö Oilers defense, Tiger De Hond kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oskar Haeger. The Hermanö Oilers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oskar Haeger should have stopped the shot. After 38 played minutes Poli Timisoara got a freekick which was hit by Adib Ovi. Erland Mellin kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to Hermanö Oilers getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Horea Popârcea hit a great ball. Adib Ovi struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Oskar Haeger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poli Timisoara. Dave Di Filippo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ovidiu Adrian came out and tried to block the shot, but Dave Di Filippo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 46th minute. After the first half Poli Timisoara were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dave Di Filippo to make the kick off. Vilhelm Larsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mauro Primeiro made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 57thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Oskar Haeger would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. When Dave Di Filippo came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Hermanö Oilers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dave Di Filippo couldn't finish the play. When Sascha Kulovitz fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poli Timisoara's protests and gave Sascha Kulovitz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Poli Timisoara getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Sascha Kulovitz hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Çağdaş Yuvakuran could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Oskar Haeger however easily saved by the left post. If Mauro Primeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adib Ovi made a great header on Poli Timisoara's corner, it was just that Hermanö Oilers's Oskar Haeger managed to reach the ball for a save. Dave Di Filippo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidiu Adrian having to interfere. If Mauro Primeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mauro Primeiro struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Oskar Haeger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poli Timisoara. After a rather tough play, Hermanö Oilers's Dave Di Filippo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After 96 minutes of play, Poli Timisoara's Mauro Primeiro made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oskar Haeger was left in no man's land by his defense there!
