Spectators: 7979 (Terracing: 5985, Seating: 1835, VIP seats: 159) Luciano Pirro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute Albino Millano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Horvát saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Kukova defense, Albino Millano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marek Horvát. The FC Kukova fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marek Horvát should have stopped the shot. In the 10th match minute, FC Kukova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Makaj to maneuver through the defense. FC Kukova's Marek Horvát played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Pirro in the 11th minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Racing Club's goalie and right to Antônio Carlos Vaz. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Racing Club's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Kukova's goalkeeper Marek Horvát, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 24 minutes into the game, Racing Club's Luciano Pirro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marek Horvát made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 32 minutes into the match, Gong Yang notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Racing Club's Cornelio Cordearo. Cornelio Cordearo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 35 minutes into the match, Racing Club's Luciano Pirro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marek Horvát narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Racing Club were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after FC Kukova's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Albino Millano took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Efmamjjasond Bronco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marek Horvát quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 38 minutes into the match, FC Kukova's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Pirro came free, but Marek Horvát reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ramiro Lano hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gong Yang made a kick off. Racing Club's Cornelio Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Kňazovický in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Racing Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gregório Pimentel was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Kukova's players had a chance to rest. Blas Soter might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cornelio Cordearo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Blas Soter ran back to his position shaking his head. Antônio Carlos Vaz hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Marek Horvát showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Lano, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 90 played minutes FC Kukova got a freekick which was hit by Xosepin Jaramillo. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Kukova's goalkeeper Marek Horvát, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Racing Club booed when FC Kukova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gong Yang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristo Faron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Marek Horvát made a huge save. The Racing Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Racing Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
