After having played for 17 minutes, Nilton Botelho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gracie Barra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nilton Botelho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Falcão Cunha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elpidio Curcio went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Lu Zhen Sheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Saldanha in the 26th minute of play. Andrzej Zapolski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Falcão Cunha made a huge save. Augusto Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Lu Zhen Sheng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Gracie Barra defense, Andrzej Zapolski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Falcão Cunha. The Gracie Barra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Falcão Cunha should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute, Andrzej Zapolski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DREAM TEAM WORLD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrzej Zapolski to strike the kick off in the second half. Falcão Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrzej Zapolski in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, DREAM TEAM WORLD's Andrzej Zapolski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Falcão Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gracie Barra's Augusto Saldanha got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gracie Barra's Jamey Hankins was substituted for Pedro Velloso. DREAM TEAM WORLD's André Luís Lessard was substituted for Andrzej Zapolski. Gracie Barra made a substitution. Hugo de Queirós replaced Nilton Botelho. When Gracie Barra's Snorri De Hond in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Paulo Jon managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alessandro Luther in the 80 minute of the game. André Luís Lessard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 81st minute André Luís Lessard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lu Zhen Sheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo de Queirós in the 83rd minute of play.
