La Pointe Courte's Bastien Domenge managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jan Večeřa in the 36 minute of the game. After having played for 38 minutes, Yves Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Pointe Courte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yves Leite was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, La Pointe Courte's Benny Impens got a free kick in the 39th minute. Leonard Kubáneks short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Jolan Galindo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yves Leite in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chiquito Flores saved FK Eldema Mstišov from getting behind. Chiquito Flores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yves Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
