In the 7th minute, Arturo Gau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes in the game Joel Barcelos did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Matthias Wauters. Joel Barcelos kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Mathijs Rokeloos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Millan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s Arturo Gau quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Joel Barcelos, made in the 16th minute of the game. ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s Silvio Millan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ from getting a goal against them. Jean-Louis Van Bever made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Sazon in the 30th minute of play. KFC Cromvelde's Jean-Louis Van Bever played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Sazon in the 32nd minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Isaias Sazon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Arturo Gau hit a great ball. Silvio Millan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mathijs Rokeloos in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s zone, Mathijs Rokeloos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Millan came out of the goal and Mathijs Rokeloos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isaias Sazon made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mathijs Rokeloos in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvio Millan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute, Isaias Sazon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Silvio Millan came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by KFC Cromvelde's Mathijs Rokeloos. But to his dismay, Mathijs Rokeloos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. KFC Cromvelde made a substitution. Henry Åkesson replaced Mathijs Rokeloos. ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴ made a substitution. Giuseppe Preca replaced Isaias Sazon. ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s Arturo Gau managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Joel Barcelos in the 71 minute of the game. 71 minutes into the match, Giuseppe Preca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jean-Louis Van Bever. KFC Cromvelde's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giuseppe Preca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. KFC Cromvelde made a substitution. Dé 武松 replaced Eugenio Cirulli. Karl-Heinz Kaltz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the match, ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s goal looked a bit too open when Henry Åkesson came free, but Silvio Millan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute Henry Åkesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Millan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Åkesson in the 92nd minute of play forced ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s goalkeeper Silvio Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvio Millan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Heinz Kaltz in the 94th minute of the match. ✴ ᑭᕮᒪᑌᑕᕼᕮ ✴'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
