A collision led to Anabolic Boys getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Rudolf Nyström hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Kenneth Meck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joakim Hökkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé Montenegro in the 30th minute of play. Anderson Paiva took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joakim Hökkvist. Joakim Hökkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Carlos Augusto Quintal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Holmgren in the 41st minute. The supporters of Várzea F.C. booed when Anabolic Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valer Trifu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Várzea F.C.'s Anderson Paiva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joakim Hökkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Anabolic Boys's Benjamin Artmann was substituted for Krister Thedin. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustaf Eklund to strike the kick off in the second half. Anabolic Boys's Joakim Hökkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé Montenegro in the 66th minute of play. Carlos Augusto Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaf Eklund in the 69th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Artmann in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Augusto Quintal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dé Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Várzea F.C.'s Rogério Saldanha was substituted for Danilo Hats. Carlos Augusto Quintal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Artmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Anabolic Boys's Gustaf Eklund in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 97th minute, Várzea F.C.'s Jude Monkhouse dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Várzea F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
