Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tivadar Demeter in the 20th minute of play. Playa Malvín's Fred Åkerström was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 28th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Tivadar Demeter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. Zé Roberto Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tivadar Demeter in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Szombathely Squirrels made a substitution. Lukas Arlikevičius replaced Luciano Aued. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fred Åkerström made a kick off. Vladimiro Marquez hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Fred Åkerström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnold Szuper having to make a save. Lei Jian Xiong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Playa Malvín's Niva Espellosa was substituted for Fred Åkerström. In the 82nd minute Niva Espellosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnold Szuper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute of the game Vladimiro Marquez made a throw-in which Constantijn De Hond played forward. Niva Espellosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arnold Szuper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niva Espellosa in the 94th minute of play. Lei Jian Xiong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
