Amerigo Muzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martijn August, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dan Kjellman got free with Amerigo Muzi in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maurício Bomba came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Golden Tigers's Gerson Santana. But to his dismay, Gerson Santana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Maurício Bomba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee showed Karl-Åke Norling the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gerson Santana scored 1-3 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maurício Bomba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nazil Tokcan's late challenge caught a FC Bal op het Dak's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nazil Tokcan helped the player get up and apologised. After 42 played minutes Golden Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Nazil Tokcan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerson Santana in the 44th minute of play forced FC Bal op het Dak's goalkeeper Maurício Bomba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Karl-Åke Norling was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 46 minutes had been played.
FC Bal op het Dak made a substitution. Marick Brunt replaced Aristides Gombal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martijn August made a kick off. In the 55th minute Martijn August shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amerigo Muzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cobus Harding got a throw-in 58 minutes in the game and the ball was received by John-Paul Locatelli. Amerigo Muzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Kjellman in the 78th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Gerson Santana made a precise shot to the right of Maurício Bomba. FC Bal op het Dak's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. When Marick Brunt came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the FC Bal op het Dak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marick Brunt couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Golden Tigers booed when FC Bal op het Dak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marick Brunt didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Golden Tigers players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
