Gu Chang Peng started the match with the kick off. Kazimierz Domin might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tom Wall. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kazimierz Domin ran back to his position shaking his head. Tom Wall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gu Chang Peng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Ripa FC's Aldo Mannie got control of the ball when Cacey Sharp tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gu Chang Peng in the 12th minute of play forced Zero Hedge's goalkeeper Tom Wall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute of the match Zero Hedge got a corner. Ripa FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Best Ibland ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 19th minute, Gu Chang Peng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Cacey Sharp could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Aldo Mannie however easily saved by the left post. In the 23rd minute, Cacey Sharp reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aldo Mannie. The goal made the score 2-0. The supporters of Ripa FC booed when Zero Hedge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Best Ibland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ripa FC made a substitution. Placido Pero replaced Romain Declerck. In the 49th minute, Best Ibland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 50th match minute, Zero Hedge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Valström to maneuver through the defense. Tom Wall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magnus Löfdahl in the 50th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a defensive mix-up in Zero Hedge's zone, Gu Chang Peng stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tom Wall came out of the goal and Gu Chang Peng tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ripa FC's Aldo Mannie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gottfrid Stenman in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute Gottfrid Stenman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Mannie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 58th minute of the game was made by Prospero Tomi with Magnus Löfdahl as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a rather tough play, Ripa FC's Prospero Tomi got a free kick in the 61st minute. Gu Chang Peng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 68 minutes into the match, Zero Hedge's goal looked a bit too open when Gu Chang Peng came free, but Tom Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 70 minutes, Gu Chang Peng managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ripa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gu Chang Peng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ripa FC's Ricardo Bochini was substituted for Kazimierz Domin. Aldo Mannie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Fanuco, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Tom Wall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Bochini in the 82nd minute of play. After 84 played minutes Ripa FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Azibar. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Cecilio Fanuco sped through Ripa FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aldo Mannie. 90 minutes into the match, Zero Hedge's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Bochini came free, but Tom Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th match minute, Ripa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Lalla to maneuver through the defense. In the 99thth minute of the game Franz Grassme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zero Hedge's Tom Wall was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zero Hedge's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
