The referee ignored ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s protests and gave Kaspar Talts a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐► getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Kaspar Talts hit a great ball. Rius Mascaran hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Özkan İğdemir to make the kick off. Derman Soysaldı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Inguanzo in the 51st minute of play. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Hermann Hesse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özkan İğdemir in the 54th minute of play. Evelio Inguanzo might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Derman Soysaldı. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evelio Inguanzo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 61st minute of the match, Evelio Inguanzo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Derman Soysaldı was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 66th minute Özkan İğdemir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermann Hesse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
