The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FC Ouagadougou National's Rene Vereijt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save FC Ouagadougou National from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Andreas Hellsing kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rene Vereijt. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, William Westelinx notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Lagrima en Jarrita's Loco Malo. Loco Malo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lagrima en Jarrita's Jorge Sayvion managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Karim Sia in the 19 minute of the game. After 21 played minutes Lagrima en Jarrita got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Hellsing. The supporters of FC Ouagadougou National booed when Lagrima en Jarrita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Veremundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute of the match, Andreas Hellsing tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rene Vereijt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 24th minute Robert Justus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loco Malo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loco Malo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Westelinx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rene Vereijt was a little too slow when Kong Hao Xi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 2-1. Lagrima en Jarrita's Andreas Hellsing got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute, William Westelinx left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Ouagadougou National fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell William Westelinx to make the kick off. Andreas Hellsing's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rene Vereijt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. A hard shot 66 in the game by William Westelinx from a close distance when the talented Loco Malo managed to make a qualified save. Lagrima en Jarrita's players were relieved. With an all-out effort, FC Ouagadougou National's Loco Malo threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nazmi Tanberk, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. FC Ouagadougou National's Rene Vereijt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Hellsing in the 74th minute of play. If William Westelinx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Loco Malo made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when William Westelinx sent off a good shot on target. When William Westelinx came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the FC Ouagadougou National fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Westelinx couldn't finish the play. Lagrima en Jarrita made a substitution. Arquímedes Desira replaced Kong Hao Xi. Lagrima en Jarrita's Armando Lore was substituted for Marcial Veremundo. 88 minutes into the match, Lagrima en Jarrita's goal looked a bit too open when Jedrzej Kiszkiel came free, but Loco Malo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Lagrima en Jarrita's Armando Lore nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rene Vereijt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. FC Ouagadougou National made a substitution. Hamza Yavaş replaced Paolo Evis. FC Ouagadougou National's Dani Rojas was substituted for Robert Justus. Loco Malo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamza Yavaş in the 97th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lagrima en Jarrita had won after a very even match.
