After the first half Poland were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ramadan Hristov made the kick off in the second half. Spase Kastrati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damazy Joks in the 52nd minute of the match. Poland made a substitution. Lech Pisarcik was slow to take the kick. During this time Poland's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Gilbert Cipinski managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Lech Pisarcik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zachariasz Sitko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Spase Kastrati made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Poland left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Macedonia.
