After a defensive mix-up in Capivara FC's zone, Matías Mazza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Fernandez came out of the goal and Matías Mazza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd match minute, Capivara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Sena to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Capivara FC's Ivo Furtado got a free kick in the 30th minute. Capivara FC's João Fernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Capivara FC from getting a goal against them. Allan Dante kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. João Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Arruda in the 51st minute of the match. Betão Pinheiro didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-1 via right post in the game's 78th minute. Capivara FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Arsenal de Gols F.C's Allan Dante got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arsenal de Gols F.C's Delfim Pernambucano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Arsenal de Gols F.C from getting a goal against them. Capivara FC were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Arsenal de Gols F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Júnior Veloso took the corner. The corner ended in Júnior Veloso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Arsenal de Gols F.C's Delfim Pernambucano did a great save.
