With a little luck, Arsenal de Gols F.C's Ramiro Barreto got control of the ball when Agnaldo Lara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ronaldo Arruda hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Oswaldo Recife recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramiro Barreto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adelino Sampaio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 33 minute of play. Ramiro Barreto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agnaldo Lara in the 41st minute. A collision led to Arsenal de Gols F.C getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruno Lenzi made a kick off. Ramiro Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute Bruno Lenzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
