Frédson Tasso started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Joel Quadros notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Davi Tande. Davi Tande was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 8 played minutes MINEIROS got a freekick which was hit by Maicon Quintal. 17 minutes into the game, Joel Quadros lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Davi Tande. Hugo Albuquerques short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Davi Tande to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Tião Camargo hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hugo Albuquerque fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Vágner Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florea Borromeo hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Davi Tande didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 35th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. MINEIROS's Maicon Quintal got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Quadros in the 42nd minute of play forced CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Davi Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Davi Tande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hugo Albuquerque to strike the kick off in the second half. Joel Quadros scored 5-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Davi Tande, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 56 minutes of play, MINEIROS's Joel Quadros made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Davi Tande was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Joel Quadros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Davi Tande was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. 62 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Quadros came free, but Davi Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute Hugo Albuquerque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davi Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's zone, Maicon Quintal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davi Tande came out of the goal and Maicon Quintal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. MINEIROS's Benê Amorim was substituted for Maicon Quintal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Quadros in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davi Tande prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA booed when MINEIROS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davi Tande having to interfere. Vágner Gaspar was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 84 minutes into the match. Vágner Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Joel Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot. MINEIROS's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Quadros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Davi Tande breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joel Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davi Tande having to interfere. MINEIROS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
