Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Toninho Goiano got the match started through his kick off. In the 9th match minute, MINEIROS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toninho Goiano to maneuver through the defense. Al-Fajuth's Édouard Mendy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maicon Quintal in the 15th minute of play. Rômulo Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Vágner Gaspar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MINEIROS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Al-Fajuth the free kick. In the 30th match minute, MINEIROS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vágner Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino da Cunha in the 36th minute of play forced MINEIROS's goalkeeper Serginho Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseu Alagoano scored 0-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serginho Taffarel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 43 played minutes MINEIROS got a freekick which was hit by William Guerreiro. In the 44th minute of the match Severino da Cunha shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Serginho Taffarel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 45 minutes of play, Al-Fajuth's Rômulo Soares made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serginho Taffarel was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The wind increased when Rômulo Soares made the kick off in the second half. Serginho Taffarel came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Al-Fajuth's Eliseu Alagoano. But to his dismay, Eliseu Alagoano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 55 minutes into the match, Al-Fajuth's goal looked a bit too open when Benê Amorim came free, but Édouard Mendy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliseu Alagoano got free with Serginho Taffarel in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute, MINEIROS's William Guerreiro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed William Guerreiro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MINEIROS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and William Guerreiro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 68th match minute, MINEIROS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Guerreiro to maneuver through the defense. Severino da Cunha, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Eliseu Alagoano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Serginho Taffarel came out and tried to block the shot, but Eliseu Alagoano slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 71st minute. After 73 played minutes Al-Fajuth got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Marinho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toninho Goiano in the 74th minute of play forced Al-Fajuth's goalkeeper Édouard Mendy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Al-Fajuth's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho Goiano came free, but Édouard Mendy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serginho Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Eliseu Alagoano sent off a good shot on target. Eliseu Alagoanos short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Serginho Taffarel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 80 minutes into the match, MINEIROS's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Matorin came free, but Serginho Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 minutes, Christian Fernandes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MINEIROS and the Al-Fajuth players grew even worse after the yellow card. Christian Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Wilson Matorin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Serginho Taffarel made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Wilson Matorin took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Serginho Taffarel to make any attempt to save it. In the 86th minute, Amadeu Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Al-Fajuth made a substitution. João Vítor Guimarães replaced Amílton Marinho. Al-Fajuth made a substitution. Teodoro Massa replaced Ciro Meireles. In the 88th match minute, Al-Fajuth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Furlan to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st match minute, MINEIROS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. Teodoro Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serginho Taffarel came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Al-Fajuth's Wilson Matorin. But to his dismay, Wilson Matorin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6.
