Seating: 1184, VIP seats: 103) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Parfen Babarykin started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Sweden's Sebastian Käller sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Polikarp Miheev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 11thth minute of the game Sebastian Käller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Russia's Polikarp Miheev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Sebastian Käller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sweden's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Käller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Polikarp Miheev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sweden's attentive Henrik Berg managed to snatch the ball when Lev Strizhenko made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. Sweden's Sebastian Käller got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 19 minutes, Sebastian Käller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sweden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Käller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastian Käller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Polikarp Miheev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Polikarp Miheev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Käller, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When Sweden's Sebastian Käller in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Russia's goalie prevented a goal. Russia's Grigoriy Melnichenko was substituted for Rodion Nikitin. 47 minutes into the match, Sweden's Sebastian Käller sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Polikarp Miheev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
In the 54th minute, one of Russia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Russia. In the 56th minute there was a penalty for Sweden. Fredric Hybbert stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Polikarp Miheev. 0-2. Arkadiy Amfiteatrov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Käller in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Polikarp Miheev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sweden's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joacim Hansson in the 62nd minute. In the 67th match minute, Sweden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Berg to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Russia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joacim Hansson was slow to take the kick. During this time Sweden's players had a chance to rest. 73 minutes into the match, Sweden's goal looked a bit too open when Grigoriy Melnichenko came free, but Gustaf Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Parfen Babarykin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaf Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Käller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Polikarp Miheev having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigoriy Melnichenko in the 79th minute of play forced Sweden's goalkeeper Gustaf Eklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Polikarp Miheev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Käller in the 80th minute. Gustaf Eklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkadiy Amfiteatrov in the 82nd minute of play. Russia:s Polikarp Miheev showed great skill when he stopped Fredric Hybbert:s penalty. After 87 minutes Russia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joacim Hansson who took care of the corner kick. Ivar Lindqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Polikarp Miheev made a huge save. Gustaf Eklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Parfen Babarykin, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 97 minutes into the match, Jörgen Levander dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Polikarp Miheev, 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Russia's zone, Ivar Lindqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Polikarp Miheev came out of the goal and Ivar Lindqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Sweden players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
