Spectators: 5149 (Terracing: 3862, Seating: 1184, VIP seats: 103) 3 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Henri Snellman came free, but Dani Hernández reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute, Venezuela's Peruanton Tamayo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Atro Kiviharju. Atro Kiviharju yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 11th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Finland's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernando Arango ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Fernando Arango fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Atro Kiviharju quite easily take care of the ball. Venezuela's Dani Hernández played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jari Alenius in the 15th minute of play. Peruanton Tamayo took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Atro Kiviharju. Atro Kiviharju dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Atro Kiviharju came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Peruanton Tamayo. But to his dismay, Peruanton Tamayo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Finland's Atro Kiviharju played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peruanton Tamayo in the 24th minute of play. Venezuela's Dani Hernández played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jari Alenius in the 30th minute of play. Peruanton Tamayo came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Atro Kiviharju could save by the left post. In the 38thth minute of the game Hemminki Koivula who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Dani Hernández was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Torsti Mäkelä got a throw-in 39 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jari Alenius. Dani Hernández showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henri Snellman, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 47th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos-Henrique Cabezudo to maneuver through the defense. Dani Hernández made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jari Alenius in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peruanton Tamayo made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Finland's goalkeeper Atro Kiviharju, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peruanton Tamayo might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Atro Kiviharju. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peruanton Tamayo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peruanton Tamayo in the 56th minute of play forced Finland's goalkeeper Atro Kiviharju to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's attentive Peruanton Tamayo managed to snatch the ball when Torsti Mäkelä made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. Venezuela's Dani Hernández proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Venezuela made a substitution. Toma Cabeza replaced Peruanton Tamayo. Venezuela's Thomas Edison was substituted for Cordarius Hornilla. Atro Kiviharju stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toma Cabeza's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. When Hemminki Koivula fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Finland's protests and gave Hemminki Koivula a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, Hemminki Koivula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's Dani Hernández proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Torsti Mäkelä kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Finland's Taavetti Vihervä was substituted for Rio Ferdinand. Atro Kiviharju made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. After 83 minutes, Thomas Edison mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Finland players grew even worse after the yellow card. Finland's Atro Kiviharju played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toma Cabeza in the 88th minute of play. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Finland's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fernando Arango took the corner. Toma Cabeza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Atro Kiviharju tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
