Mexico's Cuauhtémoc Cardenas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tivadar Demeter in the 13 minute of the game. 19 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Ferenc Tököli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cuauhtémoc Cardenas. The audience was convinced that Geronimo Salomone's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferenc Tököli was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Geronimo Salomone sped through Hungary's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ferenc Tököli. Mexico's Ismael Furman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rómeó Lukaku in the 25th minute of play. With a little luck, Hungary's Ferenc Tököli got control of the ball when Julien Zbydniowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rómeó Lukaku in the 29th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Ismael Furman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Julien Zbydniowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ferenc Tököli. That made the score 2-1 after 34 minutes of play. When Hungary's Rómeó Lukaku in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. After 44 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Mátyás Zakariás. 46 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Ferenc Tököli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julien Zbydniowski. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tivadar Demeter made a kick off. Federico Celipe hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Hungary's Ferenc Tököli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julien Zbydniowski in the 55th minute of play. Ákos Auer hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. But to his dismay, Julien Zbydniowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Ismael Furman made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when László Gácsi sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Pál Polyák came free, but Ismael Furman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Salomone came free, but Ferenc Tököli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Geronimo Salomone left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Ferenc Tököli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julien Zbydniowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. With a little luck, Mexico's Ismael Furman got control of the ball when Lajos Szatmári tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mexico's Ismael Furman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Mexico walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
