An unexpectedly hard shot by Dale Dolar in the 4th minute of play forced AKI CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper Orlando Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AKI CORINTHIANS's Orlando Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dale Dolar in the 6th minute of play. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind AKI CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper Orlando Nogueira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute of the match Barcellos Mineiro FC got a corner. AKI CORINTHIANS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arí Paraibano ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Arí Paraibano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AKI CORINTHIANS's Orlando Nogueira did a great save. Orlando Nogueira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dale Dolar's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 27th minute, Dale Dolar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barcellos Mineiro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 34 minutes into the game, Dale Dolar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Orlando Nogueira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Albino Ibar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Vânderson Saa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orlando Nogueira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dale Dolar went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Barcellos Mineiro FC made a substitution. Eliézer de Carvalho replaced Arí Paraibano. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dale Dolar was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Celsinho Corrêa got a free kick in the 57th minute. Barcellos Mineiro FC were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after AKI CORINTHIANS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Radul Kokalov took the corner. The corner led Barcellos Mineiro FC's Radul Kokalov to fire away a dangerous shot which Orlando Nogueira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dale Dolar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Orlando Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vânderson Saa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vânderson Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orlando Nogueira was a little too slow when Dale Dolar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-4. Orlando Nogueira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dale Dolar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 75 minute of play. Vânderson Saa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Ibar, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in AKI CORINTHIANS's zone, Dale Dolar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Nogueira came out of the goal and Dale Dolar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Tião Paraíba was substituted for Clóvis Vieira. Vânderson Saa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albino Ibar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vânderson Saa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Ibar, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. If Dale Dolar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Amílton Loyola quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gonçalo da Silveira, made in the 90th minute of the game. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Dale Dolar was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 94th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Dale Dolar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Orlando Nogueira made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Barcellos Mineiro FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AKI CORINTHIANS.
