It was a well-played corner which Gabriel-Omar Batista managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel-Omar Batista got free with Jeremias Vedillo in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the match, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Gabriel-Omar Batista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeremias Vedillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ★Independiente Ψ★'s Jairo Hotz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jeremias Vedillo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 25th minute Gabriel-Omar Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Vedillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ★Independiente Ψ★'s Gabriel-Omar Batista got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. C.A.M.P's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gabriel-Omar Batista 28 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Gabriel-Omar Batista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremias Vedillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Gabriel-Omar Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot. ★Independiente Ψ★'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel-Omar Batista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Vedillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriel-Omar Batista was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Gabriel-Omar Batista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeremias Vedillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Jeremias Vedillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jay-Jay Okocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Jeremias Vedillo came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by ★Independiente Ψ★'s Jay-Jay Okocha. But to his dismay, Jay-Jay Okocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 60 minutes into the match, Gabriel-Omar Batista notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of C.A.M.P's Jeremias Vedillo. Jeremias Vedillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 63 minutes into the match, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Gabriel-Omar Batista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeremias Vedillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 65th match minute, ★Independiente Ψ★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Manuelo to maneuver through the defense. C.A.M.P's Jeremias Vedillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel-Omar Batista in the 68th minute of play. After some careless play in the C.A.M.P defense, Gabriel-Omar Batista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeremias Vedillo. The C.A.M.P fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremias Vedillo should have stopped the shot. ★Independiente Ψ★'s Ale Glowacz was substituted for Jay-Jay Okocha. Jeremias Vedillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel-Omar Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel-Omar Batista in the 86th minute of play forced C.A.M.P's goalkeeper Jeremias Vedillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gabriel-Omar Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jeremias Vedillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ale Glowacz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
