To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's Cheng Guo Rong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ from getting a goal against them. In the 18thth minute of the game Edward Huyghebaert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Luis Mejía was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Ivan Nisio in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Boris Van Acker hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's Cheng Guo Rong got control of the ball when Ivan Nisio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ivan Nisio might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cheng Guo Rong. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivan Nisio ran back to his position shaking his head. 48 minutes into the game, Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's Edward Huyghebaert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luis Mejía made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ were winning 1-2.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Cedro in the 87th minute of play forced Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's goalkeeper Cheng Guo Rong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Luis Mejía proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ from getting a goal against them. Alberto Usuriaga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luis Mejía having to make a save. 96 minutes into the match, ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s goal looked a bit too open when Truylos Gonzalez came free, but Luis Mejía reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
