Anton Björnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Inguanzo in the 3rd minute of play. Cris Ronaldo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anton Björnberg. Naboonga Wild Katt FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Erhan Eroğul got a free kick in the 7th minute. Naboonga Wild Katt FC's Anton Björnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Inguanzo in the 12th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Evelio Inguanzo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Anton Björnberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes into the match, Naboonga Wild Katt FC's Jim Morrison sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hermann Hesse narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Deportivo Popolizio FBC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Manuel Iaki was slow to take the kick. During this time Naboonga Wild Katt FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Rodolfo Cordero almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Hermann Hesse did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jim Morrison in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hermann Hesse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anton Björnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Inguanzo in the 37th minute of the match. After 42 played minutes Naboonga Wild Katt FC got a freekick which was hit by Shao Sang Yu. After having played for 42 minutes, Cris Ronaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cris Ronaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Hermann Hesse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Popolizio FBC from getting a goal against them. After 46 played minutes Naboonga Wild Katt FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucho Garkalin. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd minute Quentin Francis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermann Hesse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermann Hesse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Cordero in the 63rd minute of the match. Hermann Hesse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Montrell in the 72nd minute of play. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Torbjørn Trondsen was substituted for Nils Gielis. Niceto Merexildo got a throw-in 95 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Rodolfo Cordero. The Naboonga Wild Katt FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Deportivo Popolizio FBC's performance. The match ended with a win for Deportivo Popolizio FBC.
