Baykan Erincer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 5th minute Garth Burrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute Toro Martínez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baykan Erincer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baykan Erincer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toro Martínez in the 9th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Toro Martínez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Despidida AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Evan McMahon made in the 14th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kazimierz Traczewski however managed to control. After 18 played minutes Despidida AFC got a freekick which was hit by Kees Harmsen. Garth Burrell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Toro Martínez scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baykan Erincer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arturo Arano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Baykan Erincer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dawid Cupial could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Fernando Selatse made a huge save. If Garth Burrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toro Martínez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baykan Erincer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toro Martínez, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 45th minute Toro Martínez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baykan Erincer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Despidida AFC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toro Martínez to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Alf Skarkman hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goalkeeper Baykan Erincer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toro Martínez. If Toro Martínez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO:s Baykan Erincer showed great skill when he stopped Fulgencio Furman:s penalty. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Baykan Erincer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO from getting a goal against them. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dawid Cupial in the 74th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Arturo Arano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Despidida AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Arano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baykan Erincer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Czeslaw Kopacz replaced Ancho Branca. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Mason Garland was substituted for Dawid Cupial. Despidida AFC's Szymon Pyrzyce was substituted for Arturo Arano. With a little luck, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Baykan Erincer got control of the ball when Emiliano Velasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emiliano Velasco in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baykan Erincer saved DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 99th minute of play forced DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goalkeeper Baykan Erincer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Despidida AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
