Zacarias Ascencio made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Asiz Soon sent off a good shot on target. Benny Niva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roland Delbridge having to make a save. Los Muchachos del 86's Roland Delbridge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benny Niva in the 5th minute of play. Roland Delbridge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benny Niva in the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benny Niva in the 8th minute of play forced Los Muchachos del 86's goalkeeper Roland Delbridge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benny Niva struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Roland Delbridge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Celta de Virgos. Los Muchachos del 86's Roland Delbridge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benny Niva in the 14th minute of play. Roland Delbridge came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Celta de Virgos's Benny Niva. But to his dismay, Benny Niva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Roland Delbridge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benny Niva in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Celta de Virgos's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Brion came free, but Zacarias Ascencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Muchachos del 86 were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Celta de Virgos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristian Urtzi took the corner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benny Niva in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roland Delbridge saved Los Muchachos del 86 from getting behind. In the 32nd minute Asiz Soon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Ascencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacarias Ascencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asiz Soon, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute, Benny Niva made a precise shot to the right of Roland Delbridge. Los Muchachos del 86's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The referee felt a red card was in order, 45 minutes into the game, when Leonardo Cordero put in a rough tackle. Celta de Virgos made a substitution. Hector Abilio replaced Ruben Gomez. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Celta de Virgos! Celta de Virgos:s Zacarias Ascencio showed great skill when he stopped Saverio Brion:s penalty.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Benny Niva kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roland Delbridge. That made the score 0-3 in the 54 minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, David Astudillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roland Delbridge. David Astudillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. In the 70th minute Asiz Soon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Ascencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If David Astudillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Celta de Virgos's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Peruanton came free, but Zacarias Ascencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Los Muchachos del 86's goalkeeper Roland Delbridge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Astudillo. When David Astudillo came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Celta de Virgos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Astudillo couldn't finish the play.
