The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to EoDu Uai Sôccer getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Senen Tartales hit a great ball. Jardel Cabezon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Flemming Cavegn made a huge save. Senen Tartales hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the EoDu Uai Sôccer defense, Codrin Aldescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José-Luis Chilavert. The EoDu Uai Sôccer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José-Luis Chilavert should have stopped the shot. After 19 played minutes Gucci United got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Steinmann. In the 21st minute, EoDu Uai Sôccer's Jardel Cabezon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Flemming Cavegn. Flemming Cavegn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Jardel Cabezon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flemming Cavegn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Flemming Cavegn made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Jardel Cabezon sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute of the match Benjamin Vennersten sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flemming Cavegn skillfully saved the ball. Flemming Cavegn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jardel Cabezon in the 36th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Jardel Cabezon managed to get in a good position for a shot. EoDu Uai Sôccer's supporters rose to their feet, but Jardel Cabezon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flemming Cavegn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Gucci United booed when EoDu Uai Sôccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Vennersten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvaldo Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severino Bueno to strike the kick off in the second half. EoDu Uai Sôccer's José-Luis Chilavert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save EoDu Uai Sôccer from getting a goal against them. Jardel Cabezon took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flemming Cavegn. Flemming Cavegn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Severino Bueno put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Flemming Cavegn. The supporters of EoDu Uai Sôccer booed when Gucci United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graciano Widenmeier didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jardel Cabezon in the 68th minute of play forced Gucci United's goalkeeper Flemming Cavegn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flemming Cavegn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel Cabezon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Langelier in the 71st minute of play forced EoDu Uai Sôccer's goalkeeper José-Luis Chilavert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Gucci United's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Cabezon came free, but Flemming Cavegn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gucci United's Renato Aeberli was substituted for Lucas Steinmann. Flemming Cavegn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. José-Luis Chilavert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codrin Aldescu in the 86th minute of play. Gucci United's Andre Despland got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. EoDu Uai Sôccer's José-Luis Chilavert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veltin Lucciotti in the 89th minute of play. EoDu Uai Sôccer's José-Luis Chilavert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save EoDu Uai Sôccer from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andre Despland in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José-Luis Chilavert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 96 minutes into the game, EoDu Uai Sôccer's Severino Bueno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flemming Cavegn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Gucci United's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because EoDu Uai Sôccer had won, even though Gucci United had held more of the ball.
