In the 9th minute Tala Bosques del Jaure were awarded a corner. 庄昂坚 went to the cornerflag to take it. Özbek Karahan was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 17th match minute, Bairoletto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Lastur to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Bairoletto FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Diego Llorian hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Bairoletto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cai Wei Xi came free, but Giorgio Beloki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tala Bosques del Jaure's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 庄昂坚 in the 23rd minute. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bairoletto FC's goalkeeper Giorgio Beloki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Giorgio Beloki made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Cai Wei Xi sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes into the game, Cai Wei Xi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Giorgio Beloki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cai Wei Xi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cai Wei Xi scored 3-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giorgio Beloki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th minute, Napoleon Lewicki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giorgio Beloki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cai Wei Xi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Edinson Rodríguez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edinson Rodríguez in the 90th minute of play forced Bairoletto FC's goalkeeper Giorgio Beloki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edinson Rodríguez spun around in front of the goal 90 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Bairoletto FC's goal. Edinson Rodríguez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giorgio Beloki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Edinson Rodríguez notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Bairoletto FC's Giorgio Beloki. Giorgio Beloki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
