Flores AC's Arturo Feo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Sandwall in the 13th minute of play. Arturo Feo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Svensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hans Svensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Arturo Feo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 played minutes Flores AC got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Polentzi. Hans Svensson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arturo Feo having to make a save. Arturo Feo made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Hans Svensson sent off a good shot on target. Melchester Rovers's Ian Ekenberg shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 19th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Arturo Feo but with some difficulty. In the 22nd play minute Hans Svensson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Arturo Feo. 1-0. Melchester Rovers's Roger Sandwall was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 28th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The supporters of Melchester Rovers booed when Flores AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Iratze didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roger Sandwall's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arturo Feo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. A collision led to Flores AC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ovidio Iratze hit a great ball. With a little luck, Flores AC's Arturo Feo got control of the ball when Hans Svensson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roger Sandwall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Arturo Feo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Flores AC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ovidio Iratze hit a great ball. When Hans Svensson came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Melchester Rovers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans Svensson couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hans Svensson made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Hans Svensson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Melchester Rovers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Clay Boivin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flores AC's Eulalio Guter got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72ndth minute of the game Hans Svensson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flores AC's Arturo Feo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Clay Boivin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odion Tao having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Flores AC's zone, Roger Sandwall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Feo came out of the goal and Roger Sandwall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
