Joaquim Pombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Dorigatti in the 18th minute of the match. Joaquim Pombal made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Wieslaw Zawacki sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the match, Clube Sporting Navuo's goalkeeper Joaquim Pombal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Bitănescu. Clube Sporting Navuo's Joaquim Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Dorigatti in the 28th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Wieslaw Zawacki could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Joaquim Pombal however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Clube Sporting Navuo's Régis Tinoco got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The long shot by Ignacy Fronczak in the 44th minute really tested Joaquim Pombal's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cleiton Ribeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Edgar Iwaszko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eurico Duarte in the 51st minute. Edgar Iwaszko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Fuchs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes, Wieslaw Zawacki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MKS Mazur Ełk and the Clube Sporting Navuo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A long shot from André Luís Borges in the 60th minute of play was well struck, but Edgar Iwaszko made a really good save at the right post. When Maksymilian Pisarcik fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MKS Mazur Ełk's protests and gave Maksymilian Pisarcik a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, Edward Wincek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Dorigatti kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
