The crowd rose to their feet as Carboncito's Arturo Lopez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hilario Tab. That made the score 1-0 after 2 minutes of play. Hipolito Jerico scored 2-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hilario Tab, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 7 played minutes PalomaOtero got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Mattin. Arturo Afonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 9 minutes into the game, Venancio Bastia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PalomaOtero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carboncito the free kick. In the 9th minute, Venancio Bastia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hipolito Jerico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Hilario Tab made a huge save. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by PalomaOtero's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arturo Afonso was slow to take the kick. During this time Carboncito's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Hipolito Jerico drilling the ball in to score 3-0 behind PalomaOtero's goalkeeper. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind PalomaOtero's goalkeeper Hilario Tab, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Lopez in the 26th minute of play forced PalomaOtero's goalkeeper Hilario Tab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, PalomaOtero's goalkeeper Hilario Tab had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hipolito Jerico. Hilario Tab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Lopez in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Lopez in the 37th minute of play forced PalomaOtero's goalkeeper Hilario Tab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carboncito's Arturo Afonso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hilario Tab in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the PalomaOtero defense, Hipolito Jerico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hilario Tab. The PalomaOtero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hilario Tab should have stopped the shot. Ubaldo Ponciano charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ubaldo Ponciano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, Ubaldo Ponciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carboncito's Fulgencio Poz was substituted for Lorenzo Abechuco.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfonso Cruz made a kick off. After 56 minutes of play, Carboncito's Arturo Lopez made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hilario Tab was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hilario Tab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Jerico, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 60th match minute, PalomaOtero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Mattin to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute of the match Arturo Afonso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hilario Tab skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the PalomaOtero defense, Arturo Lopez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hilario Tab. The PalomaOtero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hilario Tab should have stopped the shot. In the 66th minute Arturo Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Tab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carboncito were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after PalomaOtero's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arturo Afonso took the corner. Froilan Theodore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Hilario Tab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conrado Berart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hilario Tab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Jerico in the 77th minute of play. Hilario Tab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Berart in the 80th minute of the match. PalomaOtero's Hilario Tab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Lopez in the 84th minute of play. The supporters of Carboncito booed when PalomaOtero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter Levander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carboncito's Raul Iruinea was substituted for Hipolito Jerico. Walter Levander hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Carboncito's Arturo Afonso couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 88th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for PalomaOtero. If Arturo Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Lopez in the 94th minute of play forced PalomaOtero's goalkeeper Hilario Tab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute Leandro Peio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Tab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
